Chris Eubank Jr has left promoter Eddie Hearn in order to fight for the British middleweight title in his next fight.
The Brighton boxer only had the second of three fights he was contracted to have with Matchroom last weekend when he impressively overwhelmed Irishman Gary 'Spike' O'Sullivan in seven rounds.
The win over O'Sullivan earned 26-year-old Eubank Jr (21-1, 16 KOs) a shot at the WBA regular champion Daniel Jacobs, but while he waits for that to happen, Eubank is looking to claim the British belt held by Trowbridge's Nick Blackwell (19-3-1, 8 KOs).

Blackwell's promoter Mick Hennessy won the purse bid earlier this week and will stage the fight, which will most likely be screened live on Channel 5 early in 2016.
Eubank Jr worked with Hennessy earlier in his career until signing to fight Billy Joe Saunders just over a year ago. Saunders inflicted the only defeat of Eubank's career on points.
