Olympic silver medallist Fred Evans has announced his decision to turn professional.
The 24-year-old has signed a management deal with Bristol promoter Chris Sanigar and is expected to make his debut in the new year.
Evans won a gold medal for Wales at the 2011 European Championships in Ankara and went on to take welterweight silver in London after a series of fine performances.
Evans said: "I had a great amateur career and I want to thank all of the coaching staff at Team GB, especially Robert McCracken.
"I think turning professional is the next move, I reached the top as an amateur and I'm looking forward to doing the same as a pro."
Evans' compatriot and fellow former European champion Andrew Selby turned professional earlier this year and has already scored three wins.
