Charles Oliveiras next BMF title fight set as UFC 335 adds another major matchup
Charles Oliveira will put the BMF title on the line to close out the UFC's 2026 event slate.
The promotion announced during Saturday night's UFC 332 broadcast that Oliveira is set to defend his ceremonial BMF championship against Diego Lopes in the five-round lightweight main event of UFC 335 on Dec. 12 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
UFC additionally announced a middleweight showdown between Bo Nickal and Joe Pyfer for the card, as well as a five-round heavyweight co-main event between Alex Pereia and Sergei Pavlovich.
Oliveira (37-11, 1 NC) captured the BMF title this past March with a wrestling-heavy unanimous decision win over Max Holloway at UFC 326. A former UFC lightweight champion, “Do Bronx” will now put his newest belt on the line for the first time.
Lopes (28-8) moves up to the lightweight division to accept the challenge after long reigning as one of the UFC's top featherweight contenders. The Brazilian has twice unsuccessfully challenged Alexander Volkanovski for UFC gold at 145 pounds, and most recently knocked out Steve Garcia at the UFC Freedom 250 event in June.
Nickal vs. Pyfer, meanwhile, pits two ranked middleweights against one another in a key matchup at 185 pounds.

BMF championship: Charles Oliveira vs. Diego Lopes - five rounds
Heavyweight: Alex Pereira vs. Sergei Pavlovich - five rounds
