The UFC welterweight division has added another significant player with the signing of former two-division KSW champion Roberto Soldic.

The promotion announced during Saturday's UFC Fight Night 287 broadcast that Soldic (21-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has inked a multi-fight contract and will make his octagon debut at UFC 332 on Oct. 3 when he takes on Khaos Williams (16-5 MMA, 7-4 UFC) in a 170-pound matchup at Delta Center in Salt Lake City (Paramount+/CBS).

Soldic, 31, went on a memorable run under the KSW banner where he claimed both the welterweight and middleweight titles, including a two-fight series with former UFC champion Dricus Du Plessis, whom he went 1-1 against with a knockout victory. He was rumored to join the UFC several years ago, but instead opted to sign with ONE Championship, where he went 1-1 with one no contest.

The Croatian will seek a big introduction to the UFC opposite 11-fight promotional veteran Williams, 32, who is coming off a first-round knockout of Nikolay Veretennikov at UFC Fight Night 276 in May.

The latest UFC 332 lineup now includes:

  • Natalia Silva vs. Wang Cong – for women's flyweight title
  • Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Payton Talbott
  • King Green vs. Esteban Ribovics
  • Roberto Soldic vs. Khaos Williams

  • Marcus McGhee vs. Bernardo Sopaj
