Dana White hits out at Eddie Hearn for hurting potential Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight

Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight talks have stalled, and Dana White is pointing the finger at Eddie Hearn.

A saga in British boxing has commenced. What started as talks between two of the best heavyweights of their generation, competing to see who the king of the UK is, has quickly turned into a promotional hostage situation. White and Hearn are famously at war right now, and that feud is threatening to cancel a fight that has been built for over a decade. Fury and Joshua have genuine hate for one another; they each divide the UK boxing fanbase and have over 10 years of history built in for when their fight potentially comes. However, it doesn’t look likely.

Dana White is pinning the blame on Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, who is endangering the fight.

“My latest update is: I’ve never seen a guy who’s supposed to be a promoter, hurt a fight more than this guy has,” White claimed. “He’s hurting this fight. He’s hurting AJ. He’s hurting Fury. It’s just the weirdest thing ever.”

“The way that the fight business works is, you go where the money is, right? You go where the money is… Quit f***ing whining and crying and spending 24 hours a day doing f***ing interviews and hurting the fight. This fight should have happened 12 years ago. And now people are willing to invest in the fight, and you continue to hurt the fight and make it not happen.”

“Your client’s getting paid. You’re getting paid. But when I got into Zuffa Boxing, Eddie Hearn was off limits. I liked Eddie; I wasn’t going to [say anything]. Then Eddie goes off the f***ing deep end and comes in and starts saying all this crazy sh*t, ‘I can’t wait to compete with him I can’t wait to do this and that.’ And I was like, okay. Let’s fight.”

“We’ll see how much longer the promoter of this fight drags it out and continues to hurt the fight. I mean, it’s getting to a point where it’s like, it makes people start to not give a sh*t anymore.”
