Dana White adamant hes promoting Joshua-Fury: Im involved in the f*cking

Dana White wants to make one thing clear: he's promoting Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury.

There's been lots of talk and speculation around the UFC CEO's actual involvement in Joshua vs. Fury – the heavyweight superfight recently announced for Dec. 11 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Eddie Hearn, Joshua's longtime promoter, claims their contract says White and the UFC can't be involved in promoting the fight. When asked to clarify his role at the Zuffa Boxing 11 post-fight press conference, White went off on a reporter.

"We're promoting the fight right now," White said. "I've said 150,000 times, I don't know if I've ever known anybody who's more full of f*cking sh*t than Eddie Hearn. This guy is full of f*cking sh*t. I've been saying the same thing since way back when, and here we are."

Zuffa Boxing commentator Max Kellerman furthered that narrative of White not being the promoter, saying at Saturday's Zuffa Boxing 11 broadcast that White's involvement is "purely assisting" Turki Alalshikh in a "personal capacity, not as a promoter" – to which White replied:

"I don't know where that came from. That was weird."

White went on to continue his heated back-and-forth with the reporter, questioning his involvement and said he felt the reporter was trying to set him up. When asked to clarify his role in Joshua vs. Fury again, White said he's promoting the bout and that it's not even his choice to be involved. He didn't want to reveal whose choice it was, but doubled down on his side of the story – which contradicts Hearn.

"That's not up to me," White said. "I'm involved in the f*cking fight."
