Pereira Fans Shaking In Their Boots After Pavlovich Drops UFC 335 Training Video

If fight fans are worried about Alex Pereira’s chances against heavyweight powerhouse Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 335 this November in New York City they have every right to be. That’s because Pavlovich is a hulking menace inside of the cage and one false move could leave any fighter laying on their back, even one as prolific as “Poatan.”
Despite failing miserably against Ciryl Gane at the UFC White House card earlier this year, Pereira is adamant about staying at heavyweight and trying to win a record-setting third UFC belt. Pereira certainly has the striking ability and mindset to make another run in the division, but some believe he’s not built for heavyweight life. After all, the former UFC middleweight and light heavyweight champion looked a little slow (and small) in his matchup against Gane.
With all of that in mind, it’s understandable that some fight fans are nervous for Pereira in his upcoming matchup against Pavlovich. One error on fight night could result in another knockout loss at heavyweight, which doesn’t do well for Pereira’s overall UFC legacy. If he’s able to outduel Pavlovich and earn a win that puts him back in a UFC title fight then great, but it’s going to be much easier said than done.
Earlier this week, Pavlovich shared some training footage to social media that only cemented those concerns about Pereira’s chances at UFC 335. Pereira is certainly putting work in on his end, but any of these punches from Pavlovich could do serious damage if landed. Fight fans immediately took notice and started to chime in.
Check out the video below along with some worrisome comments:

“1st Round KO for Sergei.”
“Sergei is winning within 2 rounds against Poatan.”
“There ain’t gonna be surprises you’re gonna knockout Alex in the first round.”
“I’m a big fan of Poatan… But I think he’s getting slimed out and he should go back down to lhw or retire.“
“Don’t kill him please.”
